Burial’s “Untrue” is generating quite a buzz across the broad spectrum of electronic music enthusiasts and for very good reason. When the album dropped on my own ears, I was instantly smitten, my mind smudged, my heart soaked and my emotions smeared. To put it literally, I was floored.

That night I stayed up late taking selections from Untrue and stirring in songs from the first Burial full length to program a playlist for stitching together on the decks with Ms Pinky. The first attempt at recording came out nicely, but upon examining the file, realized… it recorded in mono! Not willing to starve mine or anyone elses ears from the true stereo-sonic beauty of Burial’s incredible output, it was rerecorded and presented here.
