After being locked into digital mixing for some months, it’s time to return to present a vinyl only mixed selection of Thirst. Bewährung features recent acquisitions from electronix labels around the world. During this hour furlough, we explore the recent output on the frqueNC label with Datahata and Bass Invadurrz as well hearing from their fellow North Carolina native, Stinkworx. Turning our ears north to Toronto, we sip through a straw some cuts from the final Suction Record “Now We Are Dead”. Representing the European preservationists are vinyl freedom fighters, Dystronic from Germany, Duracel from the Lowlands, and MASK representing the UK.
This edition of Thirst aired on 19.jun.08 – 23:00CEST on welt-am-draht.de.

The summer swim program at House Therapy (Thursday’s 10pm to 12midnight on 88.1FM WMBR) gets underway in earnest with a scorching selection of Chicago tinged tracks from a Guy Called Gerald, Da Posse, and James T. Cotton and gradually cools off as the night wears on with the sounds of Mark E, Osborne, M83, and Kelley Polar. The session winds down by flashing back with Hell Interface’s reshape of Midas Touch and a timeless classic by De La Soul and finally the depths of Moodymann, Trusme, and Basic Channel close it out.
