As mentioned in the History section, Rorschach Tekniques is the name I have used for the recording arm of the aquabahn. I got the idea from thinking of mixes of music as being “aural ink blots” that the listener interprets on their own. Each mix usually comes with some intended emotional meaning, or seeks to tell some story, but ultimately you as the listener make your own subjective interpretations.

Here on the aquabahn, under the label of “Rorschach Tekniques” you will find the following sub-sections.

aquaPodcasts: These are both lightly mixed or wholly unmixed selections of music. Careful attention has been given to selection, programming, and theme.

C30, C60, C90 GO!: This is the old “RT” cassette archive. Analog tapes have been digitized and re-presented here. I have tried to trace back as much original information as I could find for these, be it cover art, tracklistings, and exact dates of recordings. Locating that historical data presents it’s challenges, so this section as you’ll see needs work. CD: More recent digitized mixes that were originally (primarily) put onto CD format. This section stands as both the internet archive for the CD mixes as well as where future CD mixes will surface.

Radio: Recordings from the various radio shows I’ve played on. Including excerpts from guest spots on the long standing WZBC overnight radio show, “Beyond the QE2″. Included here are also “subsitute” sessions and as well some pre-recorded sets for other stations. More mixes will appear here also in the future, both from uncovered archives and ongoing FM appearances.

Last but not least is WAD [short for welt-am-draht - roughly translated to mean "world on wires"] an internet radio station broadcasting on the First and Third Thursdays of the month. For many months I have contributed a show on each Third Thursday’s that I came to call “Thirst”. The shows like aquaPodcasts are sometimes lightly mixed and othertimes wholly unmixed, but also like aquaPodcasts are always thematic with great care and attention given to their preparation and presentation.
